Elections
Hello Math Unioneers!
Elections for 2012-2013 will be held in room 6180 (the board room) on Tuesday April 3rd at 5pm. Positions include:
2 Co-presidents, 1 VP Academic, 1 Secretary, 1 Treasurer, 1 VP Social, 2 Fun Organizers, A representative for each subject post and year.
Each of these positions is what you make of it, and you have an opportunity to do anything you want with it.

UTMU and MGSA are offering an opportunity for students and faculty members and their friends in Math to have an awesome social night with performances.

Smale's Open Problems
Stephen Smale will be giving a talk on November 8th, 2pm-4pm at Bahen 1160 on his famous open problems (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smale's_problems). Hope to see you there!
...Tea Times
The math union hosts regular tea times 4:30-5:30 on Fridays. Join us for tea/coffee and brownies, and a chance to socialize with other math students and professors.
...Dinner Club joint event
We are co-hosting a dinner with the dinner club on October 14th, 7pm. Cooking for the event will be done jointly by interested undergrads and dinner clubbers. If you are interested in participating, please send an email to holt.chesley@utoronto.ca to RSVP. The theme for the evening is mediterranean, with a possible dash of malaysian.
